Buenas aca les dejo un post con la mejor recopilacion que pude hacer de esta gran banda del metal progresivo Symphony X.
Les voy a dejar algo de historia,discos,fotos y rarezas osea bootlegs
La historia de como se formo en si.(resumida para no ocupar muchos espacios)
La historia de Symphony X nace hace muy poco, en Abril de 1994, en la ciudad de New Jersey, Estados Unidos, como idea del guitarrista Michael Romeo,quien a los 12 años comenzó a tocar piano, el cual dejó de lado por la guitarra un par de años después, tocando -como es obvio- cosas como Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Iron Maiden y Judas Priest, y siendo influenciado por diversas y connotadas fuentes, como Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, Al DiMeola, Johann Sebastian Bach, Steve Vai, Frank Zappa y Randy Rhoads. Romeo fue uno de los finalistas, a sus 19 años, de un concurso de guitarras a nivel nacional denominado "Sam Ash Music Store", lo que hacía prometer que este joven haría de las suyas en el futuro. Y de hecho, así comenzó a hacerlo en una banda llamada Gemini.
El "gordo" Romeo, un guitarrista virtuoso y expresa muchos sentimientos al tocar, lanzó en 1994 su autoproducido disco solista denominado "The Dark Chapter", el cual fue objeto de muy buenas críticas e interés por parte de los entendidos. En este disco, que cuenta con una muy ambiciosa versión del Concierto de Paganini en Si Menor, Romeo toca todas las guitarras (eléctricas y acústicas), bajo, teclados y además programa la batería. La banda comenzaba a formarse con la llegada del bajista Thomas Miller, quien había tocado en muchas ocasiones con el "gordo" Romeo en los últimos diez años. Poco después de ello, arribarían a la banda el vocalista Rod Tyler, el pequeño gran baterista Jason Rullo, y finalmente el tecladista Michael Pinnella, quien grabó un par de teclados en el disco de Romeo. Con ello, la primera alineación de Symphony X ya estaba lista.
Hasta que Rod Tyler se canso y se fue al joraca,para ese entonces estaban sin cantante y Miller recordo que Tyler le habia presentado a un vocalista (Russell Allen) y de inmediato lo contactaron y quedaria la alineacion realmente completa con el por el momento,despues ciertas tensiones provocaron que Jason Rullo dejase la banda para ser reemplazado por Tom Walling,el mismo que tiempo despues por desinteres hacia la banda dejase su puesto para volver a ser reemplazado por Jason Rullo,Thomas Miller no quiso ir al Primer Tour de la banda asi que fue precedido por Andy DeLuca hasta finalizar,el turno le llegaria a Mike LePond para el comienzo del cd "Prelude To The Millennium - Essentials Of Symphony"...para resumir en la actualidad la banda quedo formada por...
